Together with the NL Space tent we filled it with stands (like our Lens R&D stand), demonstrations, activities, good conversations, questions for astronauts, etc. This year also for the first time with an NL Space Quiz, a new format of company presentations that resulted in a lot of attention and interaction at the stage for speakers like Lens R&D's CEO Johan Leijtens. Together we have once again given the (inter)national general public an excellent picture of the importance of Dutch space travel and our cooperation with ESA.

In the series 'SMEs talk along', small and medium-sized enterprises talk about the major economic developments every day and share entrepreneurial insights from practice. What is behind the news for entrepreneurs? On October 7th the program was about SMEs in the space sector. BNR discussed this with Johan Leijtens, foudner and CEO of LENS R&D B.V. (Dutch only)

The Smallsat in Utah has taken place from 10-13th of August where LRD did a presentation about the current space market and LRD's true digital sunsensor. In line with this presentation, LRD published a paper (see publications) about the adventure ESA's ARTES programme brought the company and the current situation for the true digital sunsensor that the company is developing.

It has been some time ago that we discovered our website was stuck due to a non-backward compatibility update of the software we used.

As it turns out, it is a year back to the day that the website was updated. This was not because nothing happened, on the contrary. A lot has happened between the last post and this one. After achieving full ESA qualification a number of significant orders for the BiSon64-ET-B have been received and we have been scaling up production considerably. This scaling up effort has run in parallel to a full redecoration of the office and upgrades of the cleanroom.
