With the ESA/CNES International conference on space optics concluding theESA GNC & ICATT Conferencetwo weeks ago, the Bangalore space expo industrial space days andSmall Satellite Conference (SmallSat)before that, (and a lot of production scaling activities going on), none of us found time to tally the number of sensors produced. With the delivery of another 30 units today and after a question on the subject byNikos Karafolaswe did take some time and found the counter is now on 1031 unitsPhotonFirstvolume atLens R&D B.V.quality, that is what we like to see, and we see more and more of this. Crossing the 1000 units produced threshold, we are aiming to cross the next (2500 unit) milestone much faster than the 15 years it took to produce the first 1000 units. Thanks to all our customers that have put their trust in us over the years and show their satisfaction by becoming recurring customers in many cases.
